For DS1 it was the joypad.txt, DS2 was the HID issue for. Just disable it, don't uninstall as it will just revert back later on. If you get the look up glitch, take a look at your device manager and find HID Human interface device I used the wrapper and that just caused a flashing texture or light issue so the ADK was my next route.
